COVID-19 Update 2nd April

SMNE understand the impact COVID -19 has placed on all our Clubs, Swimmers, Coaches and Aquatic Facilities. A difficult and confusing time, not just for us, but for the whole country.

We are working with Swimming NSW to make the best decisions in the interest and health of our swimmers.

At this time, the 2020 SMNE SC Distance Meet that was due to be held on May 31 is cancelled.  All upcoming SMNE SC Meets and Area Development programs are being reviewed.

As you know this is a rapidly changing situation and we will endeavour to provide an update once further information is forthcoming from Swimming NSW.

SMNE thank you for your understanding during this time.

We, at SMNE, wish all our swimming community and families good health and thank you for your ongoing support.

What can Clubs do?

Clubs that elect to proceed with their scheduled events/activities are required to comply with the AHPPC's social distancing and hand hygiene directives outlined here.

What can you do to help?

1.  Clean your hands, frequently

2.  Cover your coughs and sneezes

3.  Stay at home if you're sick

4.  Cancel social activities involving large groups of people unless absolutely necessary

5.  If you can work from home, do so.

6.  If you have been hoarding food and supplies, STOP

If you develop a fever, a cough, sore throat or shortness of breath within 14 days of travel, seek medical attention.

If you have been self isolating THANK YOU!
