Swimming Metro North East, Fri Jul 17, 2020 10:12AM

Clubs please note the recent UPDATE to NSW Sport COVID Safe Plan for sporting competitions and full training activities. Effective JULY 17th.

As a result of rising case numbers in NSW, COVID-19 Safety Plans for community sport organisations have been updated by the Office of Sport and NSW Health.

Sport and recreation organisations will be required to ‘take all reasonable steps to minimise the number of spectators attending community sport events’.

  • Ensure processes are in place to exclude participants (including spectators and officials) if they have travelled from overseas, visited Victoria in the 14 days prior or been to the latest outbreak spots in NSW.
  • Take all reasonable steps to minimise the number of spectators attending community sport events.

If you or a family member develops a fever, cough, sore or scratchy throat, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, seek medical attention.

Download the COVIDSAFE App to prevent the spread.
