Well after 8 months of no competitions, SMNE were finally able to host the SMNE LC Distance Summer Championship Meet at the new Lane Cove Aquatic Centre. With COVID safety and sun safety at the top of the list, the technical officials and volunteers donned the new SMNE Caps and hats, applied sunscreen and we were off and racing! We started the day with the mixed 200IM event under the nice blue sunny skies.... and then the clouds rolled in... and then the rain started... but ...

2018/19 JX Legends Congratulations to the following SMNE JX Legends! This level is awarded to swimmers who achieve a GOLD award for 5 years or more, or are aged 15 and 16 years old and raced at the 2019 Australian Age Championships. These swimmers have been given special recognition on the Swimming Australia website on the Junior Excellence Legends Honour Board. ??
